EPA Issues Final Coal Plant Regulations

Thousands of Navajo Jobs, Revenues to General Fund at Risk

 

(Window Rock, AZ)-The Navajo Nation Energy Office will host a series of public meetings to consider the use of energy and future development of the Navajo Nation’s energy resources.

Washington, D.C.—Navajo Nation President Ben Shelly today announced that he will testify at the Joint Subcommittee Oversight Hearing on “Protecting Long-Term Tribal Energy Jobs and Keeping Arizona Water and Power Costs Affordable: The Current and Future Role of the Navajo Generating Station,” on Tuesday.
