Comprehensive Community-Based Reentry Program Utilizing Mentors fiscal 2014 Grant

• The U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) is seeking applications for funding under the Second Chance Act for mentoring grants to nonprofit organizations and Indian tribes. The program provides services and programs to help facilitate the successful reintegration of formerly incarcerated individuals as they return to their communities.

• Eligible entities include tribes. Applicants may choose to partner with other community-based agencies for provision of some reentry services including the mentoring component.

• Applicants must register with http://www.grants.gov All applications are due by 11:59 pm EDT on June 2, 2014.
