Native American Code Talkers Inducted into NSA Hall of Honor

WASHINGTON—The National Security Agency inducted Native American Code Talkers into its Cryptologic Hall of Honor at a ceremony today hosted by the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian.

"We are privileged to be here this morning to present a plaque honoring these men to the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian," said NSA deputy chief of staff Trumbull D. Soule. "We are thrilled that Mr. Gover agrees this is the perfect home for this plaque, honoring all Native Americans who used their language skills to advance our military missions," added Soule.

The plaque will be on permanent display at the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian.
