IHS Health Information Technology Modernization has announced an opportunity for interested Tribal and Urban Indian Organization sites to become directly involved in the collaborative planning for the new IHS enterprise electronic health record (EHR) solution. One of the central principles of the IHS Health IT Modernization is to build and operate the new EHR solution with our partners, not for them. As the IHS approaches finalization of a contract award for the new IHS enterprise EHR solution, it is important to know which sites may wish to participate with the IHS on shared enterprise solution planning efforts. The IHS invites sites that are considering the new enterprise EHR as a viable option to complete the non-binding Statement of Interest to indicate their interest in participating in shared enterprise solution planning. The Statement of Interest may be submitted to modernization@ihs.gov. There is no deadline for submitting the form.
