Request for Comments on Processes for Assessing Compliance with Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity in Medicaid and CHIP

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) is seeking public comments on a set of questions regarding processes for assessing compliance with mental health parity and addiction equity requirements in Medicaid managed care arrangements, Medicaid alternative benefit plans (ABPs), and the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP). Comments must be submitted to the following email address by December 4th, 2023, to receive full consideration: MedicaidandCHIP-Parity@cms.hhs.gov.
